2. Information we collect

• Workspace data such as saved watchlists, custom indexes, snapshots, and preferences.
• Tax-workbook data that you deliberately save, which may include income, expenses, reliefs, tax already paid, residency and household context, notes, and calculated estimates.

3. How we use information

• To operate, secure, and improve TaprobaneFi.
• To provide account-based features and preserve saved workspace preferences.
• To save, reopen, update, calculate, and delete private tax workbooks at your request.
• To measure site performance, detect abuse, and troubleshoot errors.
• To support advertising operations where advertising is shown on the site.

4. Personal tax tracker data

Tax estimates are calculated in the current browser view. Values you type are not placed in the page URL and are not intentionally persisted to your account unless you are signed in and choose to save a workbook. A saved workbook is associated with your account and is returned only through authenticated, owner-scoped requests.

The tracker does not ask for a tax identification number, bank credentials, account numbers, passwords, or receipt images. Please do not put those details into names or notes. We do not intentionally provide the contents of tax-workbook fields to advertising providers for ad personalization.

5. Cookies and local storage

TaprobaneFi uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, manage theme and interface state, and understand site usage.

6. Advertising disclosures

TaprobaneFi may use Google AdSense and other third-party advertising services. These vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, limit repetition, measure performance, and, where applicable, personalize advertising.

You can manage cookie settings through your browser. If personalized ads are in use, you may also be able to control ad personalization through Google ad settings and similar vendor controls.

7. Consent

For visitors in regions where ad consent is required, TaprobaneFi may ask for consent before loading certain advertising features. Consent choices may be stored locally in your browser so the site can honor them on future visits.

8. Data sharing

We may share limited information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, and support the site. Those providers may process account or saved-workbook data only as needed to provide those services. We do not sell personal account data or saved tax-workbook contents as a standalone product.

9. Retention and security

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the site, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

A saved tax workbook remains available until you delete it or delete your account. Deleting an account also deletes its active saved tax workbooks. Limited residual data may remain where reasonably required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or technically time-limited backups.

10. Your choices
